Spring Cleaning?

Lately, my life has been entirely cluttered. In every aspect of it. Mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially. So I’ve been going in through bit by bit and removing the unnecessary, unneeded, and unwanted. Anything that takes up all of the space that, could be potentially used for more important and positive things. However, I’ve always found it strange how the season of spring compels one to clean up anything for that matter. Why spring cleaning? Why not, summer or winter or fall? Yes I get that spring holds new beginnings and it’s a time for things to grow and start anew but in all honesty, why wait? Why wait till spring to restart and refresh? Why would you subject yourself to waiting for a season to tell yourself “I’m gonna declutter my life!” Don’t just sit around watching time fly by as you get buried under all the unnecessary. Just pick a time to sit down and go through things, start small. But start somewhere. Stop waiting for that perfect moment. Get up and make it happen. Otherwise, it won’t and you’ll be stuck saying … when? That’s what I did. Sure I’m a little late and it’s conveniently spring- yes I know what you’re thinking, and no I did not just contradict myself. I know what I’m doing OKAY?- But I’ve started with my blog. Sure it may not seem like much but it’s a place to start. Mercury is in retrograde and it’s supposedly affecting everyone but so far I’ve been in the clear. Hopefully that holds up.

Happy decluttering!

I'm a young adult who doesn't have a filter between my brain and my mouth. My thoughts tend to come alive-constantly- causing my perspective to change quite often. I don't know where I'm going but I know what I'm looking for. Adventure. Magic. Creativity. My words are the sharpest weapon in my arsenal and I am not afraid to use them.
